Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Printing) to service and repair MFDs and printers across the Midlands. You will visit customer sites, fault-find, diagnose and perform preventative maintenance with autonomy in the field.

This permanent role offers internal product training, a company car, and a clear path for progression within a stable organisation. A full UK driving licence and experience with photocopiers/printers are required.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing MFDs/photocopiers/printers (or transferable IT hardware support background).
• Electromechanical fault-finding skills and good customer service.
• Full UK driving licence and happy with field-based travel.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain MFDs/printers at customer sites across the Midlands.
• Installs, diagnostics, preventative maintenance and customer handover/training.
• Connectivity and basic networking troubleshooting.
• Manage appointments, parts stock and service paperwork (Mon-Fri, occasional overtime).

Field Service Engineer (Printing)

£27,500 - £30,000 + Company Car + Mon-Fri + Product Training + Progression

Midlands (Commutable from: Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Telford, Walsall)

Are you a Field Service Engineer, Printer Engineer or Photocopier Engineer looking to join a globally recognised business that will invest in your product training and long-term development? On offer is a permanent position with a well-established document and IT solutions provider, where you will receive internal product training and ongoing support as you develop your technical skills in the field across the Midlands patch.

You will be visiting customer sites to service, repair and maintain MFDs and printing equipment, carrying out fault-finding, preventative maintenance, installs and basic connectivity / networking troubleshooting. You'll manage your own schedule, parts stock and service paperwork, escalating complex issues to senior engineers when required.

This is a fantastic opportunity that would suit someone with MFD / photocopier / printer service experience who wants structured training, autonomy in the field, and clear long-term progression.
