Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (or Level 2 with 3+ years’ experience) to join a leading UK automotive group in Oxford. The role covers servicing, diagnostics and warranty work across a wide vehicle range. You must have right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.

Competitive basic salary up to £36,064 per year plus bonus and overtime, with OTE above £39k. This is a permanent, full-time position with strong career development and training

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or IMI/City & Guilds).
• Hands-on workshop experience as a mechanic or technician, ideally within a franchised dealership.
• Right to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive vehicle servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and component updates, in line with manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across braking, steering, suspension, and basic engine systems.
• Complete thorough Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs) to identify and record any work required.
• Record accurate technical findings and parts requirements clearly on digital job cards.
• Complete standard warranty repairs in line with factory protocols and agreed timeframes.
• Maintain high levels of workshop productivity to meet individual efficiency and first-time fix targets.
