Job summary

Hireful Ltd is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to join a well-established equipment specialist with a network across the North of England. You’ll diagnose faults, perform maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery, both in the workshop and on customer sites, ensuring machines run when needed.

The role is based in Stockton-on-Tees with regular travel to customers, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, possible seasonal overtime, and a competitive salary plus a strong benefits package

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability developed in workshop or field service roles.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose faults and perform maintenance on machinery.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential for travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery, both in the workshop and on farm sites.
• Completing pre-delivery setup on new and used equipment.
• Advising customers on optimal performance and maintenance needs.
• Supporting service specialists and following manufacturer care processes.
• Keeping job reports and admin up to date.

Job description

A well-established equipment specialist with a network of branches across the North of England is looking for aService Technicianto join its growing service team. This is a hands-on role keeping equipment running when it matters most, working on machinery from some of the world’s best-known manufacturers.

This Service Technician role is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is commutable from Hull, York, Driffield, Pocklington, Beverley, Market Weighton and surrounding areas. Its' workshop-based with regular travel to customers' sites.

Working Monday–Friday from 8:00am–5:00pm there is seasonal overtime available and a competitive salarythat will reflect the experience you can bring to the role.

The Role:

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery, both in the workshop and out on farm
• Completing pre-delivery set up on new and used equipment
• Advising customers on getting the best performance from their machines
• Supporting service specialists and following manufacturer care processes
• Keeping job reports and admin accurate and up to date

You will have :

• A full UK driving licence, as the role involves driving company vehicles and agricultural equipment
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability, ideally gained in a workshop or field service role
• A professional, friendly manner when working on customer sites
• Flexibility to work seasonal overtime, including some evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment is desirable , although full product training is provided

This role would suit a technician who enjoys hands-on problem solving and wants variety in their working week.
