Job summary

Morgan Jones Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to service and repair premium agricultural machinery in Cambridgeshire. You will travel to farms within a local patch and provide expert technical support, with training and progression on offer.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Land-Based, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in agricultural, plant, commercial vehicle or related industries.
• Confident customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to commit to seasonal overtime, especially harvest (June–Sept).

• Utilise laptop-based diagnostics alongside practical engineering expertise.
• Travel to customer sites and farms within a local patch (typically within 50 miles).
• Deliver first-class customer service and technical support.

• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training programmes.

The Role

What You'll Need

• Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in Land-Based, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills
• Experience within agricultural, plant, commercial vehicle or related industries
• Confident customer-facing communication skills
• Ability to commit to seasonal overtime requirements, particularly during the harvest period (typically June to September)
