Alexander James Recruiting Ltd. is partnering with a leading agricultural machinery dealer to recruit an Agricultural Technician to service clients across East Anglia.

The role offers a competitive salary and benefits for an experienced agricultural engineer based in Norfolk. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs, diagnose faults with the latest software, and continuously develop technical knowledge across various equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing agricultural machinery preferred.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to train are essential.
• Overtime may be required during peak periods.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic software and technology.
• Develop and maintain technical knowledge across a diverse range of machinery, equipment and manufacturers.
• Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Represent the company professionally when visiting customers on-site, delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading agricultural machinery dealer, who are looking to employ a new Agricultural Technician to service their client base across East Anglia. With a competitive salary plus numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced agricultural engineer interested in a new role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a wide range of agricultural and horticultural machinery


• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using the latest diagnostic software and technology


• Develop and maintain technical knowledge across a diverse range of machinery, equipment and manufacturers


• Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure all servicing and repair work is completed efficiently and to a high standard


• Represent the company professionally when visiting customers on-site, delivering excellent customer service at all times

Requirements

The company has a preference for an individual from an agricultural background, but this is not essential. They are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including heavy plant, commercial vehicles and other related sectors provided you have strong experience and/or relevant qualifications. You will have excellent communication skills and be willing to participate in training to improve and further your skills. Furthermore, the candidate will also be required to work overtime during peak periods. In terms of location, you will need to be based in Norfolk.
