Job summary

Marshall Volkswagen Loughton is seeking a Service Technician to join our busy aftersales team. This full-time role is 45 hours per week, with weekends on a rota, in a high‑performing workshop.

Salary includes £39,232 basic and £49,000 OTE based on time saved and team profit, plus 25 days’ annual leave, life assurance and pension, discounts on servicing and car purchases, and exclusive staff perks. Requires Level 3 Automotive qualification and experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic; MOT

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 Automotive qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience as Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic.
• Ability to service, maintain and diagnose confidently.
• MOT Licence advantageous but not essential (training can be provided).

At Marshall Volkswagen Loughton, you'll join a thriving aftersales operation with a 16-bay Passenger Car workshop and 5-bay Commercial Vehicle workshop, supported by an experienced and stable team of technicians. We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• A recognised Level 3 Automotive qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic.
• The ability to carry out servicing, maintenance and basic diagnostic work confidently.
• A positive attitude and desire to learn along with a genuine ambition to develop your technical skills and progress your career.
• An MOT Licence (advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided).
