Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Service Technician, Mechanic, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician to join a busy automotive service centre in Halesowen. The role involves servicing, repairs, diagnostics and tyre/brake work to high standards.

Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, have a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK. Permanent, full-time contract offered with a strong bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Service Technician or Automotive Technician.
• Experience servicing and repairing vehicles with a good understanding of diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Complete mechanical and fast-fit repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair and replace tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension components.
• Carry out MOT-related repair work.
