Job summary

Protyre Autocare in the UK is looking for an enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to join our growing team. You will service and repair vehicles using the latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify issues.

Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and a Level 3 Automotive Qualification; you can expect superb training and development opportunities, with a regular bonus and funded IMI courses as part of The Micheldever Group.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the Automotive industry.
• Experienced with mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
• The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard
• Completing fast fit tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments
• Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products
• Carrying out MOT repairs
• Adherence to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process
• Use relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to highest quality
• Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offers timelines for future vehicle repair needs
• Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations

About the role:
