Job summary

cinch Changan & XPENG Braintree, part of Marshall Motor Group, is hiring a Service Technician to join the aftersales team. This full-time role offers a 45-hour week with weekend rosters, a £36,182 basic salary and an OTE of £44,250, plus a generous benefits package and career development through manufacturer training.

You’ll service and maintain a range of vehicles, perform diagnostics and warranty work, and progress through accredited training while upholding Marshall standards of quality and

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with warranty and servicing exposure.
• MOT Licence is a plus; full training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

At cinch Changan & XPENG Braintree , we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified Service Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. In this role:

• You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for:

• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
