Job summary

Marshall Škoda Nottingham is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join the aftersales team. You will carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicles, with access to the latest workshop technology and manufacturer training.

We value teamwork and safety, with opportunities to progress and earn via performance bonuses. This full-time role offers 45 hours per week, 25 days leave plus bank holidays and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to warranty and servicing work.
• Strong teamwork skills, safety and quality standards.
• MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job cards.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

• You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for:

• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
