Marshall SEAT Reading is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a focused aftersales team. You will service and repair vehicles, benefit from manufacturer training, and work with the latest diagnostics in a supportive workshop environment.

Formación

• Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic with warranty/servicing exposure.
• MOT Licence is a plus; training available.
• Eagerness to learn and progress with manufacturer accreditation.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Handle a variety of maintenance tasks from oil changes to cambelt changes with digital write-ups.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

Our Workshop

You’ll become part of a knowledgeable and collaborative team consisting of:

• 1 Master Technician / MOT Tester
• 1 Service Technician / MOT Tester
• A supportive aftersales operation focused on delivering excellent customer service

The workshop has built a reputation for quality workmanship, teamwork, and a positive culture where colleagues genuinely support one another.

In this role:

• You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for:

• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
