Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Service Team Member for a long-distance train operator in Birmingham. The role involves preparing and loading orders onto trains, packing and routine checks, cleaning and waste disposal, plus handling customer enquiries.

You will use basic IT equipment including Excel and scanners, with 8-hour shifts five days a week, including weekends. This on-site position offers full training, PPE, and strong public transport links, with a temp-to-perm pathway and on-site canteen

Qualifications

• This role requires applicants who are active, driven, and able to move in fast-paced environments with physical demands such as loading, packing and cleaning.
• A valid in-date DBS check is required.
• Applicants must have stock warehouse experience.

Great opportunity to work as a key service team member for our client - an industry-leading, customer-focused, long-distance train operator that customers trust to meet their needs.

Staffline is recruiting a Service Team Member in Birmingham.

The rate of pay is £12.71 to £13.07 per hour.

This role offers 8-hour shifts - 5 days a week, including weekends:

• 05:00am to 22:00pm Monday - Saturday
• 08:00am to 22:00pm Sunday

Your Time at Work

As a Service Team Member your key duties include:

• Prepare and load orders onto trains.
• Packing, loading, performing routine checks (like temperature), cleaning the premises, and waste disposal.
• Dealing with general customer enquires
• Competent with basic IT equipment including use of excel sheets, scanners
