Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Cleaners in Nottingham for a well-known long-distance train operator. The role offers £12.71 per hour and requires flexibility to cover day, afternoon, and late finishes.

You will perform a range of cleaning duties on trains, including waste disposal, vacuuming, window cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces. A valid DBS check and prior cleaning experience are required.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of trains both in transit and turnaround.
• Waste collection and disposal.
• Floor cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing).

• Disinfection of high-touch surfaces.
• Replenishment of cleaning supplies (soap, hand towels, toilet paper).
• Deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Any other cleaning duties as specified by the client.

Your Time at Work

Our perfect worker will show you are reliable, have good attention to detail, be adaptable, and have a strong work ethic. You will have a strong understanding of train routes and be able to navigate real-time railway updates.

Applicants will be able to work under pressure and timed conditions.

A valid in-date DBS check is required.

You must have previous cleaning experience.
