Job description

Role: Service Support Assistant
Contract Length: 3 months currently - may be extended further
Location: Oldbury
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £12.88 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience

Spinwell is recruiting for a Service Support Assistant for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SERVICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT
  1. Ensuring accuracy and consistency of information.
  2. Updating the Early Help System.
  3. Supporting the new YJS Prevention Officers in setting up new systems and processes.
  4. Prioritising incoming post and messages and alerting officers & practitioners to matters which require attention.
  5. Maintaining files and record systems including scanning and uploading of documents.
  6. Ensuring that tasks allocated are completed accurately and within allocated timescale.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SERVICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT
  1. Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a business admin role.
  2. Will hold NVQ Level 1 in Business Administration or equivalent.
  3. Experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
  4. Experience of finance and procurement would be an advantage.
  5. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail.
  6. Have the ability to plan & organise diaries.
  7. A standard DBS check will be required for this role.
