Job summary

Apleona UK in Livingston is seeking a Planner for a fixed-term contract (52 weeks). The role supports the local helpdesk by scheduling works orders, assigning repairs to operatives and sub-contractors, and ensuring timely completion with a strong customer focus.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–17:00pm, with a salary of £29,942.50 and a comprehensive benefits package. DBS/security checks apply before commencement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to schedule works orders and allocate resources effectively.
• Strong IT/system usage including PDAs and appointment systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule works orders and allocate to operatives and sub-contractors.
• Ensure timely updates on job status and approvals within target times.
• Maintain a high standard of customer communication and service delivery.
• Coordinate with admins, supervisors and subcontractors for efficient service.
• Provide backup support for other planners as needed.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
