Repairs Planner/Scheduler

Location: Langley

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Type: Permanent Role

Salary: £22,000 per annum

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Planner/Scheduler with experience in repairs, maintenance, or housing. The role involves acting as the key communicator between residents and maintenance staff. Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing excellent customer service to residents and tenants.
  2. Arranging maintenance and repair appointments for residents/tenants.
  3. Scheduling appointments for maintenance work.
  4. Handling resident queries and offering support via the help desk, organizing appointments efficiently and cost-effectively.
  5. Rescheduling appointments and prioritizing emergency repairs.
  6. Closing jobs for invoicing.
  7. Logging current jobs into the company database.
  8. Collaborating with supervisors and tradespeople to organize and schedule work.
  9. Updating and modifying job information as needed.
  10. Ordering necessary equipment for jobs.
  11. Performing general administrative duties such as filing and scanning.

Applicants must have previous experience in a similar role and be familiar with Opti-Time or similar databases.
