Job summary

thyssenkrupp Elevator in Manchester is seeking a Service Sales Consultant to strengthen the North team and drive servicing business growth. You will report to the UK Sales Manager and focus on expanding market penetration within the Manchester region.

The role involves developing client relationships, pursuing new opportunities, negotiating profitable deals, and achieving revenue targets while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience; lift or escalator industry experience advantageous
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office, including Project and PowerPoint
• Excellent time management and highly organised
• Pro-active, driven by results and flexible

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers
• Identify and develop new client areas via lead generation and prospecting
• Close profitable deals across customer groups
• Achieve sales and revenue growth according to targets
• Respond to quotation requests, tender enquiries, follow up and negotiate to close the sale
• Maximise exposure of products and service across targeted accounts and maintain robust sales pipeline
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to increase market share
• Measure progress against monthly targets through reporting and forecasting
• Spend time managing existing client accounts to maximise spend
• Visit clients
