Job summary

British Gas is recruiting Technical Repair Engineers in Aberdeen, Inverness, Burnley and Sunderland. You will join our team to ensure timely service and repair for customers, representing Centrica in customer homes with strong support from managers and colleagues.

Ideal applicants have ACS qualifications, 3 years' fault-finding experience, and electrical knowledge for various boiler systems. We offer a solid base salary and attractive rewards for high performance.

Qualifications

• ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1) are required.
• NVQ/C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating.
• 3 years' qualified experience of fault finding and diagnosis.
• Electrical knowledge including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan and combination systems and boilers.

Responsibilities

• Attend service and repair visits for boilers and central heating systems.
• Deliver high-quality customer service on every visit.
• Work across multiple locations as part of the British Gas Service Promise.
• Collaborate with mentors and colleagues to resolve complex faults.
