Job summary

Thomas Hardie Commercials Ltd, at Trafford Park, is seeking a motivated Service Department professional to join our team. You will organise the Service Reception, ensuring efficient work flow, customer satisfaction and profitability targets are met.

You will have experience in the Commercial Vehicle industry, supervisory experience, excellent communication skills, and be IT literate with MS Office; hold a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within the Commercial Vehicle Industry in a similar role.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and on own initiative.
• Full and current UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Organise activities of the Service Reception Department to meet efficiency and profitability targets.
• Ensure all work is processed productively and in line with company quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer and workshop records at all times.
• Obtain background information to assist diagnosis, inspection and testing of vehicles.
• Assist with delivery and collection of vehicles as required.
• Promote and sell workshop repair and service facilities.
