Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Experience in transformers, power plant maintenance, and service business
• PMP certification or strong motivation to obtain it

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent service projects and resolve scope changes, risks, and technical issues
• Plan and execute projects with defined scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resources
• Develop project proposals during business development phase including technical approach and staffing
• Lead and coordinate project teams, ensure quality and schedule adherence, and communicate deviations
• Own and manage change orders with customers and manage expectations within scope, time, and cost
• Track and analyze project financials, prepare reports and invoice requests, ensure proper close-out and performance documentation

What awaits you:

• You will manage multiple concurrent service projects, proactively identifying scope changes, risks, and technical issues and resolving them through structured, solution-oriented decision-making
• You will plan and execute projects by defining scope and deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation across all project phases
• You will develop project proposals during the business development phase, including technical approach, assumptions, schedule, cost, and staffing
• You will lead and coordinate project teams by assigning responsibilities, ensuring quality assurance, and keeping delivery on schedule and within budget while communicating deviations transparently
• You will own and manage the change order process, negotiating changes with customers and managing expectations within agreed scope, time, and cost
• You will track and analyse project financials, prepare reports and invoice requests, and ensure structured project close-out and performance documentation

What you bring to the table:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in transformers, power plant maintenance, and service business
• You have 3+ years of experience in project management and are confident handling complex project environments
• You demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, enabling you to assess risks, manage scope changes, and resolve technical issues effectively
• You bring several years of technical engineering experience, ideally including large power transformer installation, maintenance, and testing
• You have experience with electrical systems wiring; metal fabrication experience is a plus
• You hold a PMP certification or are strongly motivated to obtain it
