Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Order Management Spares and Overhauls team. You will lead end-to-end service projects for Gas Services clients, managing spares and overhaul activities from initiation through completion.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, coordinating cross-functional teams, and engaging stakeholders to ensure project success, while overseeing budgets and procurement and maintaining customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 5+ years project management experience in industrial/manufacturing/technical service.
• PMP certification.
• Strong financial management, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of spares and overhaul projects from scope to closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and resource plans.
• Act as primary customer contact to manage expectations and satisfaction.
• Oversee budgets, cost forecasting, and procurement for spare parts and services.
• Identify and mitigate risks and ensure quality standards and controlled changes.

Join our dynamic Order Management Spares and Overhauls team as a Senior Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in executing service projects for Siemens Energy’s Gas Services clients. You will lead the comprehensive lifecycle management of spares and overhaul projects, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to completion. Imagine developing detailed project schedules, coordinating with diverse teams, and engaging with stakeholders to drive project success. Your expertise in financial oversight and risk management will be crucial as you monitor progress and implement corrective actions, all while fostering strong customer relationships.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will manage the full lifecycle of spares and overhaul projects, from initial scoping and planning through to execution and closure.
• You will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, assigning responsibilities and defining resource requirements to meet project timelines.
• You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their expectations are managed and satisfaction is achieved throughout the project lifecycle.
• You will oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate cost forecasting and adherence to financial targets while managing procurement activities for spare parts and services.
• You will identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring all activities adhere to quality standards and effectively managing project changes.

What You Bring

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• You have significant experience (typically 5+ years) in project management, preferably within an industrial, manufacturing, or technical service environment.
• You possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, showcasing your commitment to excellence in project management.
• You demonstrate strong skills in financial management, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven ability to manage projects independently.
• You have excellent negotiation and influencing skills, enabling you to effectively resolve issues and agree on project deliverables.
