Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Service & PDI Technician to join our existing team at the Esher branch in Surrey.

Role Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for repairing, assembling, and maintaining all equipment related to Horticultural machinery sold by the company. This role is solely workshop-based.

1. Repair, assemble, and maintain equipment for customers associated with Horticultural machinery.
2. Diagnose faults and perform repairs and servicing effectively.
3. Possess good knowledge of Utility, Garden, and small Agricultural machinery.
4. Knowledge of Domestic or Professional Grass Machinery and its operation is advantageous.
5. Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using the latest software.
6. Work independently using your initiative and collaboratively within a team.
7. Handle heavy lifting safely, applying common sense, and seek assistance when needed.
8. Be competent in the use of computers.
9. Provide excellent customer service face-to-face and over the phone.
10. Be self-motivated and proactive.

Additional Information:

• Start Date: Immediate, subject to notice period of successful candidates.
• Hours: 42.5 hours per week – 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch). Overtime paid at time and a half.
