Job summary

You will coordinate driver rosters, plan routes, liaise with the warehouse, and maintain documentation while upholding health and safety standards. This role requires strong organisation in a busy environment and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a transport, logistics or distribution environment.
• Administrative experience in a busy setting.
• Experience working in a cross-dock operation.
• Strong route planning and driver coordination skills.
• Proficiency with IT systems including Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plan delivery schedules, considering Service Centre and third-party requirements.
• Liaise with the warehouse to ensure seamless handover and flow.
• Monitor and record temperature data to comply with handling standards.
• Investigate missing parcels and take follow-up action.
• Check driver timesheets and paperwork for accuracy.
• Debrief drivers and ensure PODs and uplift notes are complete.
• Analyse tachograph data and report infringements.
• Support customers and drive continuous improvement.
