Job summary

Nurse Seekers are recruiting on behalf of a well-established provider to appoint a Service Manager for two Exeter-based supported living services. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations, drive high-quality, person-centred care, and manage a skilled staff team.

Join a respected organisation serving adults with mental health conditions, autism, and learning disabilities. You will work with the Deputy Manager to ensure safe, effective services and service growth.

Qualifications

• Management experience in supported living, mental health, or adult social care.
• Knowledge of Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.
• Leadership and staff management experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading the daily operational management of two supported living services.
• Ensuring high standards of person-centred support through care planning and risk management.
• Providing leadership, supervision, and professional development to the staff team.
• Recruiting, inducting, and developing a motivated workforce.
• Managing occupancy levels, assessing referrals, and supporting service growth.
• Building relationships with health teams, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Promoting equality, diversity, inclusion, and best practice.
• Ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.
• Supporting continuous service improvement and maintaining quality standards.
