Job summary

Nurse Seekers are recruiting on behalf of a well-established provider of supported living services in Exeter for an experienced Service Manager to lead two services. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, person-centred care and leading a dedicated staff team.

In this role you will work with Deputy Manager and Team Leaders to ensure services are compliant and continuously improved, promoting inclusive practice and strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is essential.
• HCPC registration or willingness to work towards relevant qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act.
• Experience managing supported living or social care services.
• Proven leadership and staff management experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operational management of two supported living services.
• Ensure high standards of person-centred support through care planning and risk management.
• Provide leadership, supervision and development to staff.
• Recruit, induct and develop a motivated workforce.
• Manage occupancy, assess referrals and support service growth.
• Build relationships with health teams, authorities and stakeholders.
• Promote equality, diversity and best practice, ensure regulatory compliance.
