Waythrough seeks a Service Manager to lead the William Tarry House Supported Housing service in Northampton. You will manage staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure recovery‑focused, high‑quality support that promotes independence and wellbeing.

You’ll drive service development, build relationships with local partners, manage budgets, and embed safeguarding and performance processes. This is a values‑led leadership role within a major mental health charity.

Formación

• Level 5 Management/Leadership qualification (or working towards it) or significant relevant experience.
• Experience delivering services supporting vulnerable people, particularly mental health or housing.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and recovery‑focused support.
• Confidence using data, performance metrics and management information systems.
• Experience managing budgets, targets and KPIs.
• Excellent partnership-building skills with commissioners, partners and community organisations.
• Leadership style aligned with Waythrough values: Honest, Committed, and Inventive.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, manage and inspire the service team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support.
• Ensure effective assessments, support plans and interventions for all residents.
• Oversee day‑to‑day running of the service and building management.
• Develop and deliver service plans that drive improvement and sustainability.
• Build strong partnerships with commissioners, community services and external agencies.
• Manage the service budget and ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Monitor performance, quality assurance and compliance with frameworks.
• Recruit, train and develop staff, volunteers and students.
• Ensure services are inclusive, accessible and responsive to diverse community needs.
• Maintain safe systems of work, safeguarding practices and health and safety standards.
