Job summary

Hft, a leading social care provider in the UK, seeks a Service Manager for a residential service supporting learning disabled adults. You will lead a dedicated team to deliver safe, person-centred care that promotes independence and choice, while ensuring high standards of compliance and safeguarding.

You’ll manage budgets, recruit and develop staff, and build strong partnerships with families and external partners. The role requires occasional travel and on‑call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing CQC‑regulated residential service for learning disabled adults.
• Ability to hold CQC registration for allocated Supported Living services.
• Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.
• Proven leadership and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team to provide safe, person-centred support that promotes independence.
• Ensure services meet regulatory standards, maintaining quality and safety.
• Manage budgets and resources to sustain services.
• Recruit, induct, train, supervise, and appraise staff to enable achievement.
• Be a visible on-call leader across services as required.
