Job summary

Cygnet Hawkstone in Bradford seeks a Service Manager to lead a specialist residential service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The role involves full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with on-call duties to support the service.

You will drive high-quality care, staff engagement and regulatory compliance while overseeing strategic direction and improvements within the service.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing learning disabilities, autism or challenging behaviours.
• Outstanding staff management and organisation skills.
• Familiarity with CQC, Mental Health Capacity Act and related regulations.
• Strong presentation and report-writing ability.
• Willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma if not held.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong and effective leadership for the service.
• Oversee overall running and strategic direction of the service.
• Ensure compliance with Cygnet policies, CQC and regulators.
• Deliver high-quality care and staff engagement across the service.
• Meet clinical, budgetary, regulatory and service development targets.
• Lead risk assessment, governance and investigations as required.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement and growth.
