Job summary

Hft is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a CQC-regulated residential service for learning disabled adults. You will guide a team to deliver person-centred support, promoting independence and safety while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong partnerships with families and external bodies.

You will also oversee budgets, recruitment, training and on-call duties, ensuring services remain high quality and sustainable across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing CQC-regulated residential service for learning disabled adults.
• Ability to hold CQC registration.
• Proven leadership skills to inspire teams and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team to provide safe, person-centred support that promotes independence and well-being.
• Ensure services meet regulatory and internal standards, maintaining quality, compliance, and safety.
• Hold or maintain CQC registration for allocated residential services, ensuring regulatory expectations are met.
• Manage budgets, resources, and colleagues to maintain strong and sustainable services.
• Build open, trusting relationships with adults, families, colleagues and external partners.
• Support recruitment, induction, training, supervision and appraisal to develop your team.
• Be a visible, proactive leader, including on-call responsibilities as required.
