Job summary

Family Action is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the new Wigan Mental Health Crisis Space, an out-of-hours, non-clinical crisis service operating from 3pm to 10pm seven days a week.

You will line-manage two Team Leaders and the wider staff team (total eight), shaping service delivery, and building partnerships with local providers. The role requires a strong knowledge of the mental health landscape and a commitment to compassionate, timely support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a mental health context.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with partners and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead two Team Leaders and overall staff team (8).
• Develop and shape the Wigan Crisis Space service to increase reach and quality.
• Work with partner organisations and the Operational Manager to provide timely, compassionate support.
