As Service Manager for Locality, you will play a key role in leading and shaping services that support, safeguard and improve outcomes for children and families across Nottingham. Working within our new locality model, you will help deliver a more joined-up approach that strengthens relationships, reduces unnecessary handovers and ensures families receive the right support at the right time.
Reporting to the Head of Service, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a number of social work teams, creating the conditions for high-quality practice, strong performance and continuous improvement. You will oversee service delivery, quality assurance and workforce development, ensuring children receive timely, effective support that keeps them safe and promotes positive outcomes.
Working closely with colleagues across Family Help, education, health and partner agencies, you will lead a collaborative approach that places children and families at the centre of decision-making. You will support the development of strong community relationships and help ensure services work together effectively to respond to need and reduce escalation wherever possible.
