Reporting to the Head of Service, the role provides strategic and operational leadership to social work teams, focusing on high-quality practice, performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to social work teams, enabling high-quality practice.
• Oversee service delivery, quality assurance and workforce development to ensure timely, effective support for children and families.
• Lead collaboration with Family Help, education, health and partner agencies to respond to need and reduce escalation.
• Embed Nottingham's vision for a connected, child-centred social care system with strong professional relationships.
