Job summary

Alongside is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead Domestic Abuse Housing services across BANES (Bath & Northeast Somerset). You will manage local projects, develop staff teams, and partner with commissioners to ensure safe, high-quality support for survivors of domestic abuse.

You will drive service improvements, maintain safeguarding and trauma-informed practices, and work to achieve contractual targets while fostering a person-centred, strength-based approach across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams within housing or domestic abuse services.
• Strong leadership and ability to inspire high-performing teams.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
• Experience delivering service performance improvements and outcomes.
• Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team delivering trauma-informed support services.
• Ensure client-centred support leading to independence.
• Build relationships with commissioners and partner agencies.
