Job summary

VIVO Defence Services, a joint venture between Serco and EQUANS, seeks a Service Manager to lead maintenance delivery at RAF Leeming. You will ensure safety, compliance and value-for-money while coordinating day-to-day operations with site teams and Defence Infrastructure Organisation.

Applicants should hold an HNC (building/civil/electrical/mechanical) with SMSTS, strong IT skills (MS Office, CAFM), and proven leadership in planned and reactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• You will hold an HNC (or equivalent experience) in a building, civil, electrical or mechanical discipline, alongside a management-level Health & Safety qualification such as SMSTS.
• Strong IT skills are essential, with confidence using Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day service delivery across planned and reactive maintenance.
• Oversee safe systems of work and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Ensure all activity is recorded through CAFM with supporting documentation completed on time.
• Manage small billable works, including rough orders of cost, and ensure delivery is efficient and commercially viable.
• Support Defence Infrastructure Organisation representatives and stakeholders to resolve operational issues and drive high service standards.
