Job summary

phs Group is seeking a Service Manager at Exeter to lead a large service driver team and support our Operations Centre. You will help drive depot productivity while maintaining safety standards and compliance, ensuring high-quality service for customers in the south and beyond.

The role requires strong leadership, a valid driving licence, knowledge of health and safety, and excellent communication. An IOSH training background is desirable, with opportunities for development and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years management experience within the operations/transport logistics sector.
• Transport management experience / CPC preferred but not essential.
• An energetic and inspirational manager with proven ability to lead teams to meet our valued customers expectations.
• Hold a valid, full driving licence for at least 12 months (max 6 points).
• Understand Health & Safety in the workplace, preferably IOSH trained.
• Customer focused.
• Resource and time management skills.
• Previous transport experience essential.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for this role too.
• IT skills.

Service Manager - Exeter

We have a great opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Operations Team at our Exeter Operation Centre. You'll be required to manage and support a large team of service drivers who provide vital waste disposal products and services to our customers premises in the south and beyond.

As a Service Manager at one of our Operations Centres you will be:
