Job summary

Visum Recruitment is seeking a Service Manager to join a capital machinery supplier in the UK. The role reports to the General Manager and will lead a team of 12 engineers and administrators from an office-based base with UK-wide travel to client sites.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, managing SLAs, KPIs and customer relationships while driving process improvements and growth across the service function.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a nationwide team of Service Engineers and Administrators
• Managing service activities across the UK and overseas
• Maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring high service standards
• Overseeing SLAs, KPIs and service performance
• Supporting engineers and preparing technical quotations for contract customers
• Driving process improvements and departmental growth
• Managing escalations and resolving complex customer issues

Job description

A Service Manager is required to join a supplier of capital machinery across the UK. The role will report the General Manager and lead a team of 12 engineers and support staff. The role is mainly office based with some travel UK wide to customer sites.
