Our client, a prominent, award-winning franchise-approved car dealer group with over 50 dealerships nationwide, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Manager to join their Gloucester dealership.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service or Aftersales Manager, or an Assistant Service Manager aspiring to progress, to lead a dedicated team and drive business growth within a reputable organisation.
- Basic salary up to £38,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)

- Lead, manage, and develop a team of 4 Vehicle Technicians and 2 Service Advisors
- Oversee the workshop, service, and parts departments to ensure high-performance standards
- Motivate and support staff to achieve their full potential and meet departmental KPIs
- Plan, forecast, and deliver sales targets and workshop utilisation improvements
- Manage departmental budgets and seek opportunities for business growth
- Work closely with senior management to optimise overall dealership performance
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction levels and maintain the dealership’s reputation
- Support career development for team members and promote a positive working environment
- Occasionally work on Saturdays, subject to business needs, with no rota’d Saturday work required
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service or Aftersales Manager within a franchise-approved dealership
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities
- IT literacy with competent use of dealership management systems
- UK driving licence with minimal points
- Ability to support and motivate colleagues to achieve performance and customer service targets
- Reside within a reasonable commute to Gloucester
