Job summary

Westmorland Hotel is seeking a hands-on Service Leader for the Cold Production Department. You will lead shifts to produce boxed sandwiches, salads, wraps, toasties and snack boxes, ensuring orders are fulfilled and high quality is maintained.

You will manage a high-volume environment with a positive, can-do approach, champion our homemade products and ensure customers receive the quality we are known for. Your responsibilities include leading your shift, supporting colleagues, deploying staff

Job description

Our sandwiches, salads, toasties and wraps are freshly prepared on site daily by our dedicated Cold Production team.As a Service Leader in our Cold Production Department you will be responsible for leading shifts to ensure the team is able to work efficiently to produce our range of boxed sandwiches, salads, wraps, toasties and snack boxes that are sold in our Farmshops, Filling Stations and Quick Kitchens ensuring orders are fulfilled and high quality is maintained.In this hands-on role, you’ll be competent to manage a high-volume environment with a positive, can do approach, you will be passionate about our offer, champion our home made products and you will ensure through your knowledgeable colleagues that our customers receive the unique and high quality products that we are known for.Your responsibilities will include;Effectively leading your shift, managing and supporting your colleagues, ensuring colleagues are deployed in line with demand and respond appropriately to any matters as required.Ensuring the team are working at pace whilst delivering high quality products and maintaining brand standards.Ensuring that all daily and weekly procedures are carried out and that company standards are maintained at all times.Ensuring that all daily and weekly procedures are carried out and that company standards are maintained at all times.
