Location: London, NW1 1BD

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 + Van

Role Overview:

As a Service Engineer for Fire Security and Access Control, you will be responsible for completing preventative, reactive, and remedial works on a variety of domestic and commercial properties in and around London, ensuring work is carried out to a professional standard.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance on integrated electronic fire and security systems.
2. Carry out small works and repairs on domestic and commercial properties.
3. Complete asset logs for equipment on site.
4. Manage your workload effectively to complete all jobs timely.
5. Communicate and report daily to the office.
6. Interact professionally with clients face-to-face.
7. Working hours are 8 am – 5 pm.

Requirements:

1. Detailed knowledge of fire and security systems principles, British Standards.
2. Relevant qualifications such as NSI, LPCB, C&G, etc.
3. Ability to perform preventative maintenance to current standards.
4. Excellent customer-facing skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with others.
6. Experience managing multiple activities simultaneously.
7. Previous experience with CCTV, Access Control systems, preferably Entrotec, or fire alarm experience.
8. Clear criminal record and ability to pass CRB / DBS checks.

Additional Information:

Ideal candidates are currently working as Service Engineers in Fire Security, Alarm, Access Control, or related fields, residing within or willing to relocate to London, Hertfordshire, or Essex.
