The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates interested in a career within Risk Management to join our diverse, passionate, and innovative ZRS Property Team.

Candidates should have some background in Property Insurance, possibly through underwriting, claims, or risk engineering.

The role is home-based, requiring travel across the region. It is an essential car user (ECU) position with a company car allowance.

We will conduct a 3-month training academy providing foundational risk engineering training.

This role offers diversity and rewards, with comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed and provide technical guidance to clients.

Zurich Resilience Solutions supports customers and stakeholders with risk management solutions, including surveys, account management, and technical advice.

What will you be doing?

• Conduct desktop and on-site risk assessments following global guidelines.
• Create professional risk assessment and improvement reports for stakeholders.
• Manage risk improvement actions proactively within customer accounts.
• Collaborate across Risk Engineering, Claims, Underwriting, and other departments.
• Prioritize workload to meet global requirements and serve customers effectively.

What are we looking for?

• Experience assessing property risks (fire, flood, security) from underwriting or claims perspectives.
• Knowledge of risk management and loss prevention for Property and Business Interruption risks.
• Professional qualifications like Cert/Dip CII, TIFireE, or Risk Management certifications.
• Skills in presentation, customer engagement, influence, and negotiation.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and promote teamwork with internal and external partners.
• Commitment to self and team development with clear, ambitious goals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency with Zurich Resilience Solutions offerings, with ability to identify new business opportunities.
