Heuft are a leading international German-based supplier of quality control inspection systems for the food, drink, and pharmaceutical industries.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Service team in supporting our growing customer data base, primarily across the UK and Ireland, with exciting opportunities for international travel.

Role Description

Electrical and mechanical installation, servicing, commissioning and maintenance of quality control inspection systems on customer sites.

Troubleshooting technical issues and providing on-site support.

Training of Operators and Engineers either on customer sites or at our Customer Training Centre facilities in Tamworth.

Occasional overseas assignments, including full product training at our headquarters in Germany.

Qualifications

• Skilled or recently completed an Apprenticeship or City & Guilds in electronics / electrical engineering and or equivalent level 3 BTEC / A’levels. A Bachelor’s Degree will also be considered
• Experience working in industry, on packaging lines preferred and preferably within food, drink, or pharmaceutical environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer-facing skills
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Flexibility for travel and staying away from home for consecutive nights at a time
• Successful candidate must be residing in the UK on application
