Job summary

Hughes Safety Showers - a Justrite Company in Stockport is seeking a field service professional to service and maintain safety shower products. You will support Sales, Admin and Operations while promoting fixed service plans and cross-selling related products.

The role requires practical mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills, strong health and safety awareness, and a full clean driving licence. You will work with customers, attend training, and ensure timely documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Competent level of mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills.
• Industrial health and safety compliance awareness.
• ATEX, ISO9001, ISO18001, ISO14001 knowledge is beneficial.
• Strong customer facing and communication abilities.
• Must hold a full clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• To service and maintain Hughes Safety Showers products.
• Support both internal and external customers (Sales, Admin and Operations).
• Promote the sale of fixed service plans.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for other Justrite Safety Group products.
• Carry out critical field service activities.
• Assist in service van stock reduction and monitoring.
• Adhere to guidelines and standards of work.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Complete all necessary Company documentation punctually.
• Attend training courses and meetings as required.
• Provide support to management and colleagues to ensure company success.
• Observe health & safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.

Description

Responsibilities

• To service and maintain Hughes Safety Showers products
• Support both internal and external customers (Sales, Admin and Operations).
• Promote the sale of fixed service plans
• To undertake cross-sell activities, identifying potential sales opportunities for other Justrite Safety Group products
• To carry out critical field service activities
• To assist in service van stock reduction and monitoring
• Ensure that guidelines and standards of work expected by Hughes Safety Showers are understood and met.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, consistent with client and company expectations, and in doing so help to promote the image of Hughes Safety Showers.
• Set a good example to colleagues by observing all company rules and regulations, complying with all site regulations, and safeguarding Company property.
• Complete all necessary Company documentation punctually and in accordance with any guidelines or schedules issued (including Time Sheets, Staff Expense Claims, site reports, etc.).
• Attend all training courses and meetings as required by Hughes Safety Showers
• Provide support and co-operation to the management and to colleagues and be prepared and willing to help and contribute to the success of the company always.
• Observe and adhere to company health & safety guidelines and contribute to a healthy and safe working environment and culture.

Technical Skills
