Sovereign Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to service, maintain, fault find and repair fire and security systems across Devon and Cornwall. You will service and maintain Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems, investigate faults, attend reactive callouts and complete engineer reports.

The role includes an on-call rota (currently 1 in 4) and requires a full UK driving licence.

Competenze

• Experience as a Fire and/or Security Engineer is required.

Sovereign Fire & Security is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of fire and security systems across a diverse customer base throughout Devon and Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.

• Investigate faults and carry out repairs.

• Attend reactive callouts and breakdowns.

• Complete engineer reports and documentation accurately and on time.

• Participate in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 4).

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Fire and/or Security Engineer.

• Knowledge of systems such as Gent, Advanced, Hochiki, Apollo, Texecom, Galaxy, Menvier, Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon, TDSi, Integra and Paxton.

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

• Good understanding of network-connected devices and IT systems.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Professional, customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
