Job summary

Amida Consulting Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our growing team. You will service and maintain fire alarm, access control, and security systems across medium to large commercial sites in the UK, ensuring high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing fire and security systems.
• Knowledge of current British Standards.
• FIA training or equivalent knowledge.
• IPAF and PASMA certifications.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• Attention to detail and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain fire alarm, access control, and security systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Ensure all work complies with current British Standards and regulations.
• Produce accurate service reports and documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service.
• Work independently while supporting the wider engineering team when required.

We're looking for a skilled engineer with a strong background in servicing fire and security systems to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for maintaining and servicing a variety of systems across medium to large commercial sites throughout the UK, ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service and support.

The Role

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Strong knowledge of Gent fire alarm systems.


• Good understanding of current British Standards.


• FIA training or equivalent industry knowledge.


• ECS Card.


• Asbestos Awareness certification.


• IPAF and PASMA certifications.


• Full UK driving licence.


• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• Professional approach with high attention to detail.
