Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Service Engineer to cover a route across South East London, performing servicing, repairs and call-out visits on stairlifts and related equipment. You will maintain high customer care standards and complete log cards as part of daily duties.

The role requires mechanical and electrical know-how, NVQ2 Lift Engineering desirability, and a valid UK driving licence with DBS. A company van, phone and tablet are provided, with on-call rota and standby pay.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent is desirable.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge is essential.
• Experience with stairlifts is a must.
• UK driving licence and a clean DBS are essential.

Join Our Team as a Service Engineer in South East London!

Salary: Up to £52,000 (including OTE) based on skills and experience.

Are you an experienced Service Engineer with Stairlift expertise? If so, we want you to join our dynamic team at Stannah! You'll be covering a route across South East London, playing a crucial role in helping our customers maintain their independence in their own homes.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Orpington Service Branch, where you will be responsible for servicing and repairing stairlifts, micro-lifts, and goods lifting equipment. We are passionate about taking care of our people, ensuring everyone feels valued and recognized for their contributions to our success.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform servicing, minor repairs, and call-out visits on disabled aid products, micro-lifts, and goods lifts.
• Maintain a high standard of service and customer care.
• Conduct effective risk assessments.
• Complete log cards accurately.

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent is desirable.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge is essential.
• Experience with stairlifts is a must.
• All our Service Engineers are provided with a company van, mobile phone, and tablet.
• A valid UK driving license and a clean DBS are essential for this role.
• You will also participate in our on-call rota, receiving a competitive standby allowance and call-out payment in addition to your base salary.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM
