Job summary

Stannah Group in Harrow is seeking an experienced Service Engineer with stairlift experience to cover a route across South East London. You will service and repair stairlifts, micro-lifts and goods lifts, with a company van, mobile and tablet provided, and a valid UK driving licence essential.

On‑call rota participation comes with a competitive standby allowance and call‑out payments on top of a base salary up to £52,000 (OTE). Includes pension, health plan and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent is desirable.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge is essential.
• Stairlift experience is required.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, minor repairs and call out visits on stairlifts, micro-lifts and goods lifts.
• Ensure a high standard of service and customer care is maintained.
• Conduct effective risk assessments.
• Completion of log cards.

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer who has Stairlift experience to cover a route across South East London

As a Service Engineer at Stannah, you will play a vital role in keeping our customers moving in their own homes which is a passion of ours.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Orpington Service Branch where you will be responsible for servicing and repair of stairlifts, micro-lifts and goods lifting equipment.

Our ideal candidate would be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 Lift Engineering (or equivalent) or have transferable electrical/mechanical engineering experience.

All our Service Engineers are equipped with company van, mobile phone and tablet, therefore a valid UK driving licence along with a clean DBS are essential for this role.

You will be required to participate in our on‑call rota and in return, you will receive a competitive standby allowance and call‑out payment on top of a competitive base salary.

Working Hours: 8.00am - 4.45pm Mon - Thurs and 8.00am - 3.45pm Friday.
