Job summary

Stannah is seeking a motivated Trainee Stairlift Engineer to join the Birmingham Service Branch. You will receive full training to service, repair and maintain stairlifts and lifting equipment, working alongside experienced engineers to deliver safe, reliable customer solutions.

Hours: Monday–Thursday 0800–1645, Friday 0800–1545; valid UK driving license is essential. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs and maintenance on stairlifts, home lifts, hoists and mobility equipment
• Support scheduled servicing visits and emergency call-outs
• Learn to complete minor repairs and fault finding
• Assist with risk assessments in line with company procedures
• Help maintain accurate service records and log cards where required
• Develop mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge on site
• Contribute to delivering safe, reliable solutions for customers

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Trainee Stairlift Engineer to join our Birmingham Service Branch team.

This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in engineering, where you’ll receive full training and support to develop the skills needed to service, repair, and maintain stairlifts and lifting equipment.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll learn how to deliver safe, reliable solutions that make a real difference to customers’ lives.

Working Hours will be : Monday to Thursday 0800-1645 , and Friday 0800-1545.

• Assist with repairs and maintenance on stairlifts, home lifts, hoists, and mobility equipment
