Job summary

Stannah Group is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover a patch across Didcot and surrounding areas. You will service, fault-find and repair lifts, ensuring safe, reliable operation day-to-day with local team support.

The role covers commercial, residential and public sites, with a structured route and predictable hours. A comprehensive Lift engineering background and driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant.
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

Lift Engineer Jobs in Didcot at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary Up to £56,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 (early finish)

We're looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Didcot and surrounding areas.

You'll be looking after your own patch - servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Didcot and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:
