Job summary

Stannah seeks a Lift Service Engineer to cover Essex and surrounding areas. You will service lifts, fault-find, and keep systems running safely day-to-day with support from a local team.

The role includes a structured patch, a company van, and a market-aligned salary up to £71,000 (OTE) based on skills and experience. NVQ3 Lift Eng and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service lifts and fault-find to keep systems running safely day-to-day.
• Attend breakdowns and callouts within the patch.
• Carry out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Complete site logs and basic paperwork.

Lift Engineer Jobs in Essex at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Salary Up to £71,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.15 leave home return home by 5.30 and Friday leave home 7.15 return home 4.30

We’re looking for aLift Service Engineerto cover a route across Essexand surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Essexand nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence
