Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Lift Engineer to cover a Didcot-based patch, servicing and repairing lifts across commercial, residential and public sites. You will fault-find, complete maintenance, and log site activities while staying within your allocated area.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence. A permanent, on-site position with a clear progression path is offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing lifts and fault finding across Didcot and surrounding areas.
• Attend breakdowns and restore lifts to operating condition.
• Carry out routine maintenance and site logs.

Salary Up to £56,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

We’re looking for aLift Service Engineerto cover a route acrossDidcotand surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Didcotand nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence
